Clean Your Tools

Jun 23, 2015

Once a week I soak our toothbrushes and my make-up brushes in a cup of water and essential oils to keep them fresh and clean. Here’s a quick fix that you can do to keep your tools clean 😉

Now, I know, you usually don’t think about cleaning your toothbrushes. But think about it for a second….

You use your toothbrush to scrape off the germs and junk from your teeth in the morning and then stick it back into your mouth after its been sitting around all day. We use them over and over and never wash them?!  Its pretty gross if you think about it.
You can save your mouth with just a few drops of dōTERRA’s oils.

How To:

Combine water with 3 drops of dōTERRA’s On Guard Protective Blend in a small glass and let your toothbrush soak for 15min. On Guard supports healthy immune function, kills bacteria and viruses and is a safe and effective way to disinfect. It is one of my very favorite oil blends because it works so well at preventing illness, and fighting an illness if you do get sick!

Follow the same instructions for your toothbrushes.

I personally use dōTERRA’s Tea Tree and Lemon essential oils to soak my make-up brushes for a fresh clean smell.

dōTERRA’s essential oils are a natural, effective and safe way to clean – so what are you waiting for?
