Ohhhhh how I HATE plastic!  It’s bursting with nasties that can be harmful to your health. If you have ever looked into my cupboards you’ll notice that I have a small obsession with hoarding glass jars, containers, bottles…you name, if its glass-I’ve probably kept it. I must have made a lot of jam or preserves in my past life….??

I LOVE a good DYI project and in the quest of eliminating plastic from this casa this project had my name all over it….and it also helps to justify that there is a motive to my madness 😉

Now, you can buy glass spray bottles, but they’re not cheap. I would personally have a hard time buying them when I have a small community of glass bottles that have not been given a use yet.

It is super easy to make your own. Most glass bottles with screw on plastic lids have the same sized mouth and groves as other spray bottles. Therefore, you can simply switch-up your typical spray-bottle nozzle onto your glass bottle.

Simply take an old screw top bottle and fit the nozzle from your old spray bottle on top and Voila!  Instant glass spray bottle for all of your natural DIY needs! I used an apple cider vinegar bottle, but glass vinegar, Perrier or Pellegrino bottles work as well.
