Power UP with these Energy Balls

May 28, 2015

Snack-o-holics, Rejoice!

These petite and portable all natural energy balls are perfect fuel for on the go munching!

I ALWAYS make my own because frankly some store-bought granola bars are expensive, full of sugar and usually contain a ton of unpronounceable preservatives.

I made these quick and easy energy balls in less than 10 minutes and at a fraction of the cost of those store bought varieties. I will mention that this is as talented as I get in the ‘sweet treat’ department so if I can make them anyone can–no baking required!

I LOVE to customise and make them even more amazing-with the addition of some great superfoods like spirulina, flax, cocao, maca, chia, hemp, and almonds.

These nutritious bites will fill you up, keep you feeling full longer, satisfy any sugar cravings and best of all -you don’t have to feel guilty about eating them!

I make a big batch and throw them in a container in the freezer where they will last for months!

Directions:

For the base– I start by blending the Dry Ingredients: (Nuts-Seeds-Oats-Powders, Coconut Flakes)
